Halloween at Seven Hills!
Seven Hills was filled with Halloween spirit! The Lotspeich Lower School and the Early Childhood Center (ECC) had spooky, spirited Halloween parades this morning! ECC students paraded around the outside of the Early Childhood Center, which was festooned with Halloween decorations provided by pre-kindergarten parent Stephanie Wong. Children in grades one through five walked around the upper field track as Creative Dramatics teacher Russell White announced their names. There were many creative costumes on display, including numerous superheroes and princesses, a box of mac and cheese, and a whirling tornado! On the Doherty Campus, pre-kindergarteners through fifth-graders paraded under the cover of a vast array of costumes, colors, and props. The festive parade of zombies, princesses, cartoon characters, and more moved across campus as parents drove along the parade route in cars decorated with spooky decorations. What a fun way to jump, slither, and slide into the fall season! Upper School students and faculty enjoyed fall festivities during Spooktoberfest on Oct. 30. The Upper School community met in a socially distanced fashion at the Upper School quad to get some fresh air, hold costume competitions, and go “trick-or-treating.” The Middle School celebrated Pumpkin Day this morning with several exciting activities! Each grade, broken into their advisory groups, participated in team building events, including door decorating, a Kahoot quiz, and a relay race. Students and teachers enjoyed the fun Halloween activities!

Ben Greenberg ’06 moderated the discussion, which focused on addressing the challenges posed to working life by the pandemic.
