Turkey Tango!

The Upper School seniors and Lotspeich second graders ushered in the winter holiday season, kicking off Thanksgiving Break on Nov. 21 during the Lotspeich and Upper School assembly. Under the direction of  music teacher Robin Wilson, the second graders first danced alone then concluded the dance alongside the seniors in Kalnow Gym. Lotspeich students shared what they were thankful for. Vashti Rutledge, from the Madisonville Education & Assistance Center, thanked everyone for taking part in the food drive. Head of Lotspeich Susan Miller thanked the school community for a fun day and wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving Break.

Preview Days!

Over the course of two days, the eighth grade class the Seven Hills Class of 2028— had their first taste of life at the Upper School. The students were welcomed in The Schiff Center by Head of Upper School Matt Bolton and told about the class requirements, college counseling process, athletic offerings, Personal Challenge projects, and community service hours. The eighth graders attended Upper School classes throughout the day and at lunch got to experience the Upper School clubs. Seniors hosted an ice cream social in the Hillsdale Commons to share their experiences and answer questions about life at the Upper School. The eighth graders capped off their day by attending Personal Challenge sharing presentations.
