Winter Sports Athletic Highlights

As the winter sports season came to the close, Stingers had stellar performances on the court and in the lanes. Check out some highlights from the season.
After a fantastic showing at the district meet, multiple swimmers qualified for the state tournament. Congrats to freshman Mary Sellinger; sophomores Ada Doepke and Marissa McNerney; juniors Madison Zortman, Danny Beyerbach and Avery Clayton, and seniors Colin McNerney and Ellie Krause. The Upper School held a clap-out for them and bowler senior Caleb Katz as they left for their state tournaments.
Katz made Seven Hills history, becoming the first male bowler to qualify for the state tournament. He finished 52nd overall.
The girls varsity squash team competed at the national tournament in Philadelphia, finishing 1-2 overall. Senior Siena Motch and sophomore Kenzie Motch won all of their matches.
The boys varsity basketball team ended the regular season with a six-game win streak and was named Miami Valley Conference champions.
