Unit II Creates Agamographs for the New Year
February 2, 2026
To ring in the new year, Unit II students picked a focus word for 2026 and created an agamograph for it. The students learned about sculptor and experimental artist Yaacov Agam to inspire their agamographs, art pieces that use optical illusion to create changes when viewed from different angles.
Teacher Sherri Linville led the Unit II class in a discussion about resolutions and they picked one word they wanted to focus on for 2026. The students made the word into an agamograph and, in language arts, practiced their paragraph writing by going more in-depth about why they chose their word.

One student picked “try” because they want to try to relax more and be more considerate, while another picked “believe” because they want to believe they can be better at soccer and read more. One student picked “lunch” because they want to be more adventurous in foods they try in the lunchroom in 2026
