Stingers Swim Strong at Southwest Classic

The girls and boys varsity swim teams had an excellent showing at the Southwest Classic, with numerous swimmers earning their best times of the season. 

Junior Danny Beyerbach placed first in the 200 backstroke, finished second place in the 100 backstroke, and third in the 200 freestyle, setting a new school record of 1:40.05. 

 

 

Sophomore Marissa McNerney finished third in the individual medley and fourth in the 200 backstroke, earning her best time of the season in both. Sophomore Vivian Watkins placed third in the 50 backstroke.
