Pumpkin Day
November 4, 2025
Hip hip hooray for Pumpkin Day!
The annual event is a series of friendly competitions where Middle School students have the chance to compete as SWARMs, multi-age grade-level groups, to win first place.

The afternoon began with a pumpkin decorating competition. Students worked to add creative designs to their pumpkins that embodied this year’s theme: Movie Night!

Once the allotted decorating time ended, SWARMs rotated between three activities:
- Red Carpet Rumble (Tug-of-war)
- Battle of the Stars (Capture the Flag) and,
- Movie Theater Popcorn (Omnikin Four-Square)

At the end of the day, students gathered together in The Schiff Center auditorium for the awards ceremony.
Congratulations to the Hayes/Handler for winning “Best in Show” for their display, and the Ross/Kahn SWARM for winning first place in the relay competitions.
