MLK Day On, Not Off
February 2, 2026
Seven Hills families from every division volunteered at Matthew 25: Ministries and at the Freestore Foodbank during the 13th annual MLK Day On, Not Off.

“It was wonderful to see students and families from all divisions of Seven Hills, including grandparents, parents, and children, serving side by side,” Jacky Kalubi, Middle School world languages teacher and one of the event facilitators said. “Your willingness to give your time shows that kindness, compassion, care, commitment to community, and service are values we live out, not just talk about.”

At Matthew 25: Ministries, nearly 100 volunteers sorted materials that will support disaster victims and people in need both domestically and internationally.

While at the Freestore Foodbank, about one dozen Seven Hills families worked with other volunteers to make Power Packs, food for tristate area K-5 students to eat on the weekends, and set a new record of compiling 3,600 bags of food.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered!
