Hygge in the Library

Middle School and Upper School students recently enjoyed the Danish tradition of hygge (pronounced hue-gah) in the Young Family Library. Hygge is about creating a warm atmosphere with people you care about and taking time to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Besides a crackling fire, students could enjoy quietly reading, crafting, journaling, or a warm beverage that complemented the cozy atmosphere. Students also got to enjoy live music from junior Beckett Ceron and senior Rhys Ceron.

In partnership with Hygge in the Library, the Bee Well Club had a therapy dog and crafts in the library classroom during Upper’s lunch.
