Homecoming 2026: A Weekend to Remember

October 5, 2026

ADuring Homecoming weekend, Seven Hills families enjoyed delicious food, participated in friendly competitions, and strengthened friendships across divisions. With every moment packed with celebrating community — the family grill-out, youth clinics, varsity games and the cross country invitational, and fireworks on Friday evening — it’s no wonder Homecoming is one of our favorite weekends.

Read more about all the festivities and events below!

Spirit Week

From our youngest to our oldest Stingers, everyone brought their A-game and creativity during Spirit Week leading up to Homecoming weekend. Every day, students — and faculty — dressed to impress with that day’s theme. From showing off their craziest socks to bringing their favorite movie to life to repping Seven Hills gear, we loved seeing your fun outfits.

Every division showed their school spirit during the 2026 Homecoming Spirit Week!

Bee Keeper Social

During the Bee Keeper social on Sept. 17, freshman advisories played various games, such as “Dress Your Bee Keeper,” tug-of-war, bean bag toss, and line dancing while strengthening advisory bonds.

The most spirited “bee” from each advisory won a cowboy hat!

Students worked quickly to dress their Bee Keeper in the silliest costume possible.

Friday Festivities

On Sept. 18, Upper Schoolers visited the Doherty Campus during the Doherty pep rally and helped boost Stinger pride even higher. Read more and watch student interviews about the Doherty pep rally.

Later in the day, the first Upper School Stinger Day kicked off with a petting zoo, a pie-eating contest, and other fun games.

In the evening, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students from both campuses were able to play on the Early School playground, draw with colorful chalk, and compete in a mini soccer match before the Spirit Night Youth Recognition for grades 1-6.

After the girls varsity soccer team won their match against Cincinnati Christian High School 3-0, we celebrated our youth student-athletes with high-fives and cheers as they ran through a tunnel of varsity student-athletes.

The evening wasn’t over yet! The soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, and tennis clinics hosted by Upper School athletes were one of the favorite parts of the evening for our Lower and Middle School students. The varsity soccer shootout showed off our older student-athletes’ skills, and the captains vs. coaches kickball game showcased the friendly competition and sense of community throughout the week’s events.

Friday evening closed with beautiful fireworks over the lower field on the Hillsdale Campus.

Saturday Sports

On Saturday morning, Middle School and varsity cross country runners competed in the Seven Hills Cross Country Invitational. Both girls’ and boys’ cross country teams placed first at the Seven Hills Invitational.

Early in the afternoon, the boys’ varsity soccer team took a 6-2 win over Cincinnati Christian High School.

Thank you to our athletic department, culinary and maintenance teams, staff, faculty, and parents who helped make this Homecoming one to remember!
