Boys Varsity Golf
Our boys varsity golf team is heading to state! Congratulations to seniors Matia Kastner and Jason Zhou and sophomores Leo Cai, Rishik Shukla, and Siddhant Sirigam on qualifying for the OHSAA state tournament. The team will travel to Columbus to compete at NorthStar Golf Club on Oct. 12 and 13.
The Stingers recently finished as district runner-up, missing the district championship by just one stroke. The team won the OHSAA sectional tournament on Sept. 21 at The Mill Course, shooting a 317 and finishing 40 strokes ahead of the second-place team.
Kastner added an individual title to the team’s accomplishments, shooting a 65 to win the sectional championship by 10 strokes.
Girls Varsity Volleyball
The girls varsity volleyball team is currently second in the Miami Valley Conference (MVC) Gray division and picked up big wins over Mariemont and Purcell Marian in September. The Stingers defeated Mariemont in four sets before sweeping Purcell Marian in three.
Senior Jackie Katuska leads the team with 55 aces, while senior Anju Green leads with 174 digs.

On the offense, junior Abel Bracken leads the MVC with 31 total points, while junior midfielder Grafton Combs leads the conference with eight assists.
