Cultural Connections: Students Learned Highland Dancing

As part of Cultural Connections Week, students learned about Scottish dancing, music, and bagpipes.
Doherty welcomed the Cincinnati Highland Dancers, who explained the history and steps of Highland dancing before performing for the students to bagpipes being played by former Doherty and current Upper School parent Christopher McLennan.
McLennan taught students about the bagpipes, including the different parts of the instrument and how it is played.
Multiple students joined the dancers onstage and tested their dancing skills.
