Bengals Math in Unit I

While maybe not as scientific as the ESPN analysts, Unit I students in Amy Kulhavik’s class are hard at work predicting the outcome of each Bengals game this year to enhance their math skills.

In this project, the students make predictions based on the teams’ records, who they want to win, and other factors, like what the mascot is. The students graph their prediction before the game and then compare it afterward, while also learning about tally marks, greater than and less than symbols, and odd and even numbers.

The student with the closest prediction gets to keep the game’s graph poster as a prize.
