A Morning with Grammy Winner Jon Batiste

During the Q&A session, Upper School students posed questions to Batiste about his career and sought advice as they embark on their own artistic paths.

He encouraged students to embrace their individual voices and reminded them that every artist’s journey is unique. His practical and inspiring advice urged young creatives to remain open to learning and to find joy in the art-making process.

One of the day’s standout moments was when Batiste jammed with a few of our student musicians. The students matched his energy, their faces glowing with excitement as they collaborated with such a talented artist.
