On May 10, the Hillsdale Campus came alive with color, music, and imagination as students from first through 12th grade gathered for our fifth annual Arts Alive celebration. From captivating stage performances to vibrant gallery displays, the event was a joyful and inspiring showcase of artistic expression across every division.

Highlights from the day included:

  • Middle School students performing thoughtful, curated theater pieces for a packed house on The Schiff Center stage and in the Upper School drama classroom.
  • Upper School vocal soloists dazzling the crowd with powerful performances on the Deck.
  • A stunning display of Lower and Middle School artwork in The Schiff Center lobby.
  • Brett Woffington ’25 delivering a heartfelt solo during an Upper School symphonic ensemble piece.
  • Arts and crafts booths — featuring face painting, tie-dye, and friendship bracelets — organized and led by Upper School student volunteers outside the Donovan Arts Center.
  • A special cross-divisional collaboration: Upper and Lower School students staging “The Day,” a play written by rising senior Evie Horner when she was in fifth grade.
  • Joint Doherty and Lotspeich singing performances featuring original choreography and strong vocals.
  • A spirited after-party performance by Upper School band Black Cherry on The Deck.

With sunny skies overhead, families, friends, and community members enjoyed a memorable day filled with creativity and celebration.
