Upper Schoolers Take Part in Real World Experiences
April 6, 2026
The Upper School had its first Experiential Learning Day with each grade level taking part in a series of activities focused on learning by doing and gaining understanding through real-world experiences.

The freshmen visited the Linden Grove School and the Ozanam Center to help students develop a more empathetic understanding of educational equality, neurodivergence, and poverty.

The sophomores spent the day immersed in Asian culture with a day of activities organized by juniors Avery Wang and Noor Arif that included Chinese dance, a mosque visit, and games and crafts.

The juniors focused on sustainability, learning how local businesses and organizations, like the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, are addressing issues related to the environment and sustainability.

The seniors took part in a mini-conference about the transition from high school to college, focusing on the non-academic parts of college life. They attended workshops on topics like personal finance, time management, and campus life.
During lunch, they welcomed recent alumni, who shared their first-hand experiences. They ended the day with a class bonding trip to Madison Bowl.
