Swimming Competes at State Tournament

The Upper School swim teams had an excellent showing at the state tournament with 11 athletes competing. The girls team placed eighth overall and the boys placed ninth. Junior Colin McNerney placed sixth in the 200 freestyle and seventh in the 500 freestyle and senior Henry Stimson placed seventh in the 100 breaststroke. The relay team of Colin McNerney, Stimson, sophomore Danny Beyerbach, and freshman Santi Garcia finished eighth in the 200 medley.

For the girls, freshman Marissa McNerney finished sixth in the 500 freestyle. The 200 medley relay team of Marissa McNerney, sophomore Avery Clayton, and seniors Raine Ellerman and Josie Schneider finished sixth and the 400 freestyle relay team of Marissa McNerney, Ellerman, Schneider, and sophomore Madison Zortman finished eighth.
