Students Compete in Heart Anatomy Relays
May 6, 2026
Sixth graders in teacher Jennifer Licata’s class raced against the clock in a relay race testing their knowledge of the heart. Students competed one team at a time in the sixth grade commons where Licata organized tunnels to mimic the heart’s anatomy. One by one, students tossed small plastic balls through the tunnels to simulate how blood circulates through the heart.
