Middle School Performs Two One-Act Plays

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the Middle School’s two one-act plays: “The Adventures of Rocky & Skye” and “Herby Alice Counts Down to Yesterday.” 

“I chose ‘The Adventures of Rocky & Skye’ and ‘Herby Alice Counts Down to Yesterday’ because both plays were about Middle School students,” Middle School drama teacher Jacob Hauser said. “I like having the students tell stories that are relatable and have relevant characters for them.”

Hauser previously chose “The Adventures of Rocky & Skye” in 2018 when the Class of 2025 was in sixth grade. 

“It is a simple and beautiful story of a group of friends growing from kindergarten through Middle School,” Hauser said. ‘“Herby Alice Counts Down to Yesterday’ had some fun technical challenges, the biggest of which was building a rocket out of various abandoned and repurposed materials, which earned a shoutout from Jon Batiste during his talk.”
