Lotspeich Fourth Graders Learn Three New Instruments

In preparation for their winter concert, fourth graders in Lotspeich music teacher Robin Wilson’s class rehearsed chords on the ukulele.
After their warm-up, Wilson introduced the A minor chord to her class and discussed how many of the Halloween songs students enjoy are written in a minor key.
Once they became more familiar with it, students were divided into three groups, with each playing either the ukulele, the xylophone, or the bass bar.
Students will perform with all three instruments for friends and families in mid-December before Winter Break.
