Indoor Track Ran Strong Through the Season

The indoor track team had a fantastic season with numerous stand-out performances and personal bests.

The Stingers went up against 44 teams from around the region at the meet on Jan. 30 at Mount St. Joseph University.

Senior Amelia Schnirring won the 60 meter, junior Madison Zortman took second in the 800 meter, junior Campbell Coyne placed third in the 1600 meter, and senior Lemuel Zyyon finished third in the high jump.

At the meet on Feb. 13, Seven Hills had three runners finish in the top 10 of the 60 meter, with Schnirring placing second, senior Claire Bachelder taking seventh, and freshman Emilie Dunoye finishing ninth.

Coyne won the 1600 meter and Bachelder finished second in the 400 meter. Schnirring placed fourth and Bachelder placed sixth in the 200 meter.
