Experiential Learning in Action

December 3, 2025

Upper School students in the entrepreneurship and philanthropy classes are working with a local business to tackle real-world challenges.

Leesa Ceron’s entrepreneurship class is working with nonprofit Clovernook Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired to develop marketing strategies and promotional campaigns for the nonprofit that is facing federal funding concerns.

“Our partnership with Clovernook exemplifies the kind of experiential learning we cultivate at Seven Hills — students engaging with authentic business challenges for an organization whose mission resonates deeply within our community,” Ceron said.

As part of her Challenge Experience, senior Ila Wall is working with Ceron to reach a scope of work document that will serve as the background and guidance for the entrepreneurship students. Wall is working on a concentration in business/marketing.

The philanthropy class visited Clovernook to witness how the nonprofit is making a difference through employing visually impaired people and fighting for equality.

“The work demands more than creativity; it requires rigorous analysis, strategic thinking, and the capacity to translate complex problems into actionable solutions,” Ceron said.
