Kathy Wade, two-time regional Emmy winner and international jazz performer, and Jason Holmes, associate director of choruses for the Cincinnati May Festival, performed on The Schiff Center stage during Lotspeich’s Bonnie Binkley assembly.

This year’s assembly — called “The Black Anthology of Music” — was a celebration of Black musicians, storytellers, and traditions that have shaped music and culture across generations.

Bonnie Binkley, a beloved former French teacher at Lotspeich, embodied the spirit of “Joy in Learning.” The Binkley family continues to make this special Lotspeich tradition possible, and we remain deeply grateful for its lasting impact.
