Upper Theater Students to Put on 7 One-Act Plays

Upper School theater students, including actors, technical crewmembers, and directors, are taking on roles to produce the 2020 Upper winter production, a collection of seven one-act comedies entitled, “All in the Timing,” by playwright David Ives. “The total cast is about 20 students plus four student directors and a large student-driven technical crew,” said Upper School theater teacher Marc Raia. “I am really proud of how well the kids are working, especially within a short rehearsal period of just a little over a month.” Raia noted that four of the plays are being directed by student directors, Maddy Kennebeck, Adam Firestein, Freya Li, and Hannah Levin. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on Feb. 6, and 8 p.m. on Feb. 7 and 8, in The Schiff Center theatre classroom. Tickets are $10 and are available in advance online at
