Upper School Art Show
In late May, more than 150 beautiful pieces created by our second-semester Upper School art students were on display during the spring art show in the Donovan Arts Center. Teacher Daniel Vance said the art represents the work of about 90 students and ranges from photography, to screen printing, to ceramic and inflatable sculpture, to graphic design, charcoal drawing, and plaster. Vance said students work hard to study their work and bring it to fruition. “What is most important is that art is possible, that our students can create art, that they are artists.” Congratulations to Vance, art teacher Jason Knarr, and our dozens of talented visual artists.
