Unit II Visits Big Bone Lick State Park

Unit II students have been studying the Ice Age in their science and social studies classes. The class recently took a field trip to Big Bone Lick State Park to complement the lesson and attend the annual Salt Festival. Students saw bison in person, which they have been studying as part of their Ice Age unit. “The park featured a museum with ice age animals, bones, and information that we went through after viewing the bison,” said Unit II teacher Joan Claybourn.
