Seventh-graders Share Space Presentations

As a part of the final unit in Earth science, seventh-graders in Jocelyn Welch’s class conducted research, in small groups, on a space exploration related topic that interested them, and then created a presentation to share with the class. “Through the efforts and creativity of these students, in just two weeks we covered a great variety of space topics, from major events in the past to current events, and even plans for the future,” Welch said. Students presented on a variety of celestial topics, including Halley’s Comet, Jupiter, and a comparison of Earth and Mars.
