Seventh-graders Present Design Thinking Projects

Each semester, Design Thinking teacher Karen Glum asks her seventh-grade students to solve problems using empathy, creativity, and the Design Thinking process. Students tried a new project over the fall semester, designing educational board games for kindergarteners in the Early Childhood Center. Students recently presented their games to a group of local experts and Seven Hills teachers, at an event in The Schiff Center. Students shared information about their games, as well as the process of designing them. The games had titles like “Party Animals,” “Under the Sea,” and “Circus Breakout.”
