Seventh-graders Learn About Mid-Autumn Festival

Seventh-graders in Mia Wu’s Chinese class learned about the Mid-Autumn Festival in a recent lesson. The Mid-Autumn Festival, which was observed on Sept. 13, is an event observed by several Asian countries, including China, Vietnam, and Singapore, that celebrates harvest during the full moon and brings together family and friends. Wu shared mooncakes with the class, small pastries that come in different flavors and are given as gifts.
