Seven Hills Team Wins Stock Market Game

Throughout the school year, seventh-grade history teacher Doug Huff and seventh-grade math teacher Carri Haskinsteam taught a cross-curricular, hands-on simulation of the stock market. As they played the Stock Market game, students learned how to manage a virtual stock portfolio with real data while competing against area schools. The team with the highest portfolio value were named the winners. Impressively, the Seven Hills team of Liam Bardon, Nick Patel, and Sophia Levesque finished first in the state in the middle school category of the Stock Market Game. “We are so proud of Liam, Nick, and Sophia,” Huff said. “They worked as a team and invested wisely!”
