Senior Named Gatorade Ohio Boys Soccer Player of the Year

Congratulations to senior Brennan Callow! Callow was recently named the Gatorade Ohio Boys Soccer Player of the Year. According to the organization, about 5.7 million student athletes play sports that qualify for Gatorade Player of the Year, but only 607 athletes are named Gatorade State Player of the Year. Students are chosen not only for athletics, but also academic achievement and exemplary character. Famous athletes who have received the award include Abby Wambach, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, and more. Gatorade will also donate $1,000 to a sport-based charity of Callow’s choice. This fall, Callow will attend and play soccer at University of Michigan.
