Pre-kindergarten hiking adventure class

Full, five-day-a-week pre-kindergarteners on the Doherty Campus are taking to the outdoors, as part of an ongoing curriculum that focuses on nature, hiking, and exploration. The lessons for 3- and 4-year-olds, led by pre-kindergarten teachers Judy Shuppert and Julie Brackett, incorporate observant treks across campus, nature gathering, searching for particular insects and small animals, art, and discussion.
