Clubs and Activities

7 Up Club
Bring students together in an organized way to discuss issues and plan activities such as Pep Rallies, Homecoming and dances. The main goal is to develop spirit in the school for its extracurricular sporting events, to encourage the classes to interact with each other and encourage the whole community to have pride in our school.

Academic Team
Compete in academic competitions with other area high schools throughout the year.

African American Awareness
Provide education and awareness of Black issues; offer support to the Black Community and provide a sense of diversity and awareness of African-American culture at Seven Hills.

American Sign Language Club

Anime Club
Immerse yourself in Japanese Culture with popular Japanese animations.  The club also gives students an insight into Japanese life.

Baking Club

Carpe Diem (Yearbook)
Capture and record the school year in pictures and in word.

Cartoon Club
Watch a wide variety of cartoons during the lunch bell.

Chamber Strings Club

Chess Club
Members play and learn chess. They also hold organized tournaments.

Chinese Club
Broaden the knowledge of the Seven Hills community about Chinese holidays, culture, movies, music and food.

Community Service Club
Do projects that serve our community and make it a better place; encourage the school community to get involved in various types of service projects.

Environmental Club
Promote student awareness of environmental issues. Occasional fundraisers and sales to collect money to donate to causes that benefit the environment.

Faculty Class Advisors
Advisors assist students in conducting meetings, organizing various class activities, and developing qualities of leadership.

Film Appreciation Club

Film Club
View foreign and domestic films of every culture from experimental to "golden age" films.  These films are viewed as art forms and cultural tools.

French Club
Engage in French culture through language, food and celebration of holidays.

Gay, Straight Alliance (G.S.A.)
Assure that each member of our community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

Latin Club
Prepares members for the Ohio Junior Classical League State convention and other local events. Promote knowledge and enthusiasm for the Classics; show our appreciation for the ancients through events to be held throughout the year.

LTAB Club

Mock Trial Team
Learn and explore law through preparing for a mock trial competition.

Model United Nations Club
Help students get a better understanding of the United Nations and its functions.  The Model UN club will help students build skills in diplomacy and compromise (debating).  The club will address important "real world" issues such as regional conflits, peacekeeping, and human rights, etc.

Discuss and debate current events as well as social, cultural, political, and moral issues.

Complete experiments, give presentations, do volunteer work in science related fields, and work on individual Science Fair projects.

Ski Club
Ski, tube, and snowboard after school at Perfect North during the winter months.

Spanish Club
Make the student population more aware of Spanish culture. We will also hold fundraisers, donating the money to local Hispanic charities. Our activities will include: speaking Spanish, eating Spanish foods and watching Spanish movies.

Play video games from the late 70s and 80s.

Wearable Art Club
Make wearable pieces of art such as yoyo necklaces, earrings, clay buttons, etc.  Items may be sold throughout the year to raise money for a charity of the club's choice.
