Clubs and Activities

Academic Team
Compete in academic competitions with other area high schools throughout the year.

African American Awareness
Provide education and awareness of Black issues; offer support to the Black Community and provide a sense of diversity and awareness of African-American culture at Seven Hills.

Amnesty International
Educate the Seven Hills community about international human rights, raise awareness and potentially raise money for human rights causes.

Anime Club
Immerse yourself in Japanese Culture with popular Japanese animations.  The club also gives students an insight into Japanese life.

Bike Club
Bike enthusiasts unite!  Members of this club plan weekend biking trips as well as discuss and share information with each other regarding equipment, etc.

Upper School's student run newspaper. It contains a variety of articles, photographs and drawings about the Seven Hills community.

Card Gaming Club
Play simple card games and rejuvenate the centuries old classics.  Card games range from the standard 52 card decks to collectable card games.

Carpe Diem (Yearbook)
Capture and record the school year in pictures and in word.

Cartoon Club
Watch a wide variety of cartoons during the lunch bell.

Certamen Club
Practice and learn Certamen, a Latin Quiz Team. Club members also practice for state level competitions.

Chess Club
Members play and learn chess. They also hold organized tournaments.

Chinese Club
Broaden the knowledge of the Seven Hills community about Chinese holidays, culture, movies, music and food.

Connect Club
Enlighten students in the community to the daily struggles and hardships faced by the homeless in Cincinnati.

Environmental Club
Promote student awareness of environmental issues. Occasional fundraisers and sales to collect money to donate to causes that benefit the environment.

Faculty Class Advisors
Advisors assist students in conducting meetings, organizing various class activities, and developing qualities of leadership.

Film Society Club
View foreign and domestic films of every culture from experimental to "golden age" films.  These films are viewed as art forms and cultural tools.

French Club
Engage in French culture through language, food and celebration of holidays.

Gay, Straight Alliance (G.S.A.)
Assure that each member of our community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

Go Club
Go is the world's oldest board game, originating in China.  It requires strategy and thought and played on a 19"x19" board.

Investment Club
Learn about the stock market in this competitive and fun environment.

J.E.D.I (Justice, Equality, Diversity, Inclusivity)
To promote diversity and inclusion at Seven Hills.

Junior Statesmen of America Club
Fostering political debate and activism within the community through registration drives, organized debates, political conventions and fundraisers.

K.E.$.H. & A. (Keeping Everyone $afe, Happy and Aware)
Raise money to donate to various animal shelters in the area.

Latin Club
Prepares members for the Ohio Junior Classical League State convention and other local events. Promote knowledge and enthusiasm for the Classics; show our appreciation for the ancients through events to be held throughout the year.

Lunch Bunch Club
Expand the culinary knowledge of the Seven Hills community.

Math Competition Club
Solve interesting and challenging mathematics problems and provide practice for both on and off campus competition.

Mock Trial Team
Learn and explore law through preparing for a mock trial competition.

Model United Nations Club
Help students get a better understanding of the United Nations and its functions.  The Model UN club will help students build skills in diplomacy and compromise (debating).  The club will address important "real world" issues such as regional conflits, peacekeeping, and human rights, etc.

Paper Noise
A literary magazine of poetry and short stories; it fosters the development of creative and artistic minds. It will produce several publications as well as sponsoring contests and forums. Click here to connect!

Photography Club
Learn all types of photography techniques such as lighting and editing.  Members will bring photos to the meetings for discussion and pointers.

Prom Committee
School-wide dance (with an admission fee) sponsored by the Junior Class and held in the spring, away from of school, with a band/D.J.

Robotics Club
Learn more about programming, electronics and mechanics by exploring the wonderful world of robotics.

Rocket Club
Build and launch model rockets, possibly even one that conforms to the Team America Rocketry Challenge specifications.

Discuss and debate current events as well as social, cultural, political, and moral issues.

Science Olympiad Club
Complete experiments, give presentations, do volunteer work in science related fields, and work on individual Science Fair projects.

Service Club
Do projects that serve our community and make it a better place; encourage the school community to get involved in various types of service projects.

Seven Hills Psychos
Raise school spirit at all sporting events.

Seven-Up Club
Bring students together in an organized way to discuss issues and plan activities such as Pep Rallies, Homecoming and dances. The main goal is to develop spirit in the school for its extracurricular sporting events, to encourage the classes to interact with each other and encourage the whole community to have pride in our school.

Ski Club
Ski, tube, and snowboard after school at Perfect North during the winter months.

Spanish Club
Make the student population more aware of Spanish culture. We will also hold fundraisers, donating the money to local Hispanic charities. Our activities will include: speaking Spanish, eating Spanish foods and watching Spanish movies.

Student Senate
Function as an intermediary between the student body and the faculty and school administration; represent student concerns and interests to the appropriate body or bodies; to undertake those activities which will further promote a better quality of school life.

Survey Club
Surveys on various topics from both faculty and students.

The Outdoor Club
Students involved in outdoor activities.  Outdoor excursions will also be planned.

Unified for UNIFAT
The Seven Hills Chapter of city-wide U4U organization that plans fundraising events in support of UNIFAT Primary School (Gulu, Uganda).  The Upper School U4U chapter also works with Middle School, Lotspeich, and Doherty to coordinate school-wide efforts.

Upper School Sports League (USSL)
Pla exotic sports such as human curling, cricket, lounge ball and others in a bracket-type tournament.

Video Game Creation Club
Learn several different complex techniques involved in the creation and design of a modern 3D video game.

Vintage Gaming Club
Play video games from the late 70s and 80s.

Wearable Art Club
Make wearable pieces of art such as yoyo necklaces, earrings, clay buttons, etc.  Items may be sold throughout the year to raise money for a charity of the club's choice.
