Kindergarteners Prepare for Halloween with Festive Song

Maria Eynon’s music classroom on the Doherty Campus was filled with spooky sounds in early October when kindergarteners practiced their creepy, kooky Halloween song “Mwa Ha Ha.” Eynon taught students the song and asked them to play the beat on boomwhackers, plastic tubes tuned to a variety of musical pitches depending on their length. Kindergarteners, along with Unit I, will perform the song for children in the Beginnings program later this month during librarian Linda Wolfe’s haunted walk through the Doherty library.
