Kindergarteners Have Spooky Fun in Theater Class

Lower School drama teacher Russell White recently had some fun, Halloween-themed acting exercises planned for kindergarteners on the Doherty Campus! In the first exercise, students pretended to be their Halloween costumes, whether it was a princess, a werewolf, or superhero, transforming into all sorts of characters. Next, continuing to put their improv skills to the test, students told the story of Dr. Frankenstein and his monster through the game Frankenstein Alive! They ended class with Ghost Mirror. Students had an opportunity to record their voices and say something a ghost would say. Children then acted as if they were standing in front of a mirror and White played the recording. Students had to react to the ghost in the mirror.
