Freshman Breaks Records

Freshman Mackenzie Hartman has been setting track and field records throughout the spring athletics season. She recently broke the 100m Hurdles District record, running 15.42 and beating the previous record of 15.57. Hartman has also set school records in the 100 meter hurdle with a time of 15.58, 300 meter hurdle with a time of 47.1, and the long jump with a distance of 17’6. Hartman is a four-sport athlete, playing volleyball, softball, track, and cheering. In addition to track and field, she plays starting centerfield for the softball team. “Mackenzie is an amazing athlete,” said Athletic Director Scott Willard. “As a freshman, we look for her to have a  long Seven Hills athletics career ahead of her!”
