Fifth-grade Team Places First in Category in Perennial Math Tournament

Several fifth-graders in Karla Balskus and Jennifer Steller’s class recently competed in the Perennial Math Tournament, taking home first place in the fifth-grade category. The team included Aditya Khanna, Kiran Thompson, Samarth Kasaraneni, Will Stock, and Maya Little. In addition to being first in the fifth-grade category, Stock and Kasarenenni tied for first in the individual event category. About 260 students in grades three through eight from the greater Cincinnati area registered to compete in the tournament. The Seven Hills team is invited to compete in the Virtual National Championship in May.
