Eighth-graders Share Mini Lessons About Cold War Period

As part of their study of the Cold War period, eighth-graders in Judith Neidlein-Dial’s history class recently shared mini-projects about events from the era. In groups, students virtually shared presentations about historic events from world history, including the Yalta and Postdam Conferences, the Marshall Plan, and the Vietnam War. “Each group was assigned an event,” Neidlein-Dial said. “They created a fact file in a Google Slides presentation and then created a brief activity related to the world event for their classmates. They “taught” a mini-lesson on their event.”
