Doherty Pancake Breakfast and Art Auction Benefits Cooperative for Education
On March 10, Doherty held its annual Pancake Breakfast and Art Auction, welcoming families, faculty, and students to enjoy a morning of pancakes and art. The proceeds from the event benefit the Cooperative for Education, a local nonprofit that creates sustainable programs aimed at ending illiteracy and alleviating poverty in Guatemala. While faculty served pancakes, attendees enjoyed all the art available for auction, which adorned the walls. The art was created by students in Doherty, from the youngest children in Beginnings, Seven Hills’ parent and toddler enrichment program, up to fifth-graders. Much of the art centered around patterns. Click here to view more photos.
