Community Service Club Volunteers 850 Hours
In its second year, the Community Service Club members and their parents completed a combined 850 hours of community service! The club completed a number of service projects throughout the school year, starting with putting in five new garden beds on the Hillsdale Campus in October. Volunteers also made scarves, visited the Pinebrook Retirement Community, and cheered on athletes competing in the Special Olympics basketball tournament. The club celebrated the end of the year with a party for members in early May. Congratulations to club members, parent volunteers, and club advisers, teachers Liz Lorenz and Natalie Wildfong.
