Chinese Exchange Students Enjoy Upper School Visit

In late January, Upper School students hosted students from Shanghai Xinan Weiyu Upper School as part of Seven Hills’ exchange program. Ten Chinese students and three teachers from Shanghai Xi’nan Weiyu school attended classes at Seven Hills for one day with their host families. They then arranged  interactive activities with Seven Hills Chinese teacher Mia Wu’s middle school students. “They performed dancing, singing, and taught our students how to do calligraphy and Chinese lucky knots,” said Wu. “The students had so much fun with them and our Middle and Upper school students practiced Chinese with them. Our students have said that they have learned so much about Chinese life during their short five-day.” Wu said Seven Hills students are looking forward to their visit to China next year.
