“The Pathways for Prevention program is invaluable,” Middle School counselor Dayna Sargent said. “You’ll hear the kids excitedly call out for Mr. G by name when they first see him. They remember him and the impact his lessons had on them from previous years.”
Mr. G, whose full name is Glenn Hall, has been a pivotal figure in the Pathways for Prevention program for years. His engaging teaching style and genuine passion for helping students make positive life choices have left a lasting impression on many young minds.
During the recent session, students participated in discussions that emphasized the importance of self-awareness and peer support. They also had the opportunity to role-play different scenarios, allowing them to build confidence in making healthy decisions.
Students left with a renewed sense of empowerment and a toolkit of skills they can use throughout their lives. The impact of Pathways for Prevention extends beyond the classroom, planting seeds of resilience and awareness that continue to grow as students progress through their educational journey.
