Middle School Retreats Offer Adventure of All Sizes
October 6, 2025
At the start of the school year, sixth through eighth graders have the chance to bond with their classmates during grade-level retreats.
The retreats are specifically designed for each grade level and offer fun challenges and adventures that foster camaraderie among the students.
Eighth Grade
Eighth grade traveled to Adventure Treks in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina for a week packed with hiking, camping, climbing, and so much more. During their trip, students built stronger friendships, experienced breathtaking scenery, and stepped outside their comfort zones.

Seventh Grade
Seventh graders enjoyed a day of community-building activities on campus, where they competed in teams within their advisories to perform original dance numbers at The Schiff Center, played games in Kalnow gym, and enjoyed pizza.

Sixth Grade
For their retreat, sixth graders rode the bus to Main Event in West Chester, where they enjoyed friendly competitions while bowling and playing laser tag. Students could also complete a ropes course or try and beat each other’s high scores in the arcade.
