Middle School Kicks Off Hair Fair
December 3, 2025
The Hair Fair kicked off on Nov. 20 with sixth grader Jack winning the raffle to cut Middle School history teacher Judith Neidlein-Dial’s hair.
Thirty-two students purchased raffle tickets, which raised $1,011 that will be donated to organizations creating wigs for kids in need.
The Hair Fair honors the late Middle School PE teacher Beth Leonard, who passed away from cancer in 2014.

Students from all divisions, family members, and alumni are encouraged to participate by donating their hair.
How to donate your hair in three steps:
- Grow your hair out! You must donate at least eight inches.
- Get a haircut! Go to the stylist of your choice and tell them you want to donate your hair. Email before and after pictures to Hannah Hanley, at hannah.hanley@7hills.org
- Bring your bagged ponytail to the Middle School office. Include your name on the bag and what grade you are in — we would love to give you a shoutout on our Seven Hills social media.
Donations are accepted until May 1, 2026.
