Arts Alive — Fine and Performing Arts Festival — April 4!

Arts Alive is just a few weeks away! On Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., students in grades K-12 will take to The Schiff Center main stage and the Donovan Arts CenterBlack Box theater for a day full of musical and theatrical performances, while the Donovan Arts Center will also be filled with student art and workshops led by our talented visual arts faculty. Hands-on art activities will be free for children of all ages, and food will be available for purchase in Founders Hall. Fine and performing arts department chair Tina Kuhlman said performances will be divided into five acts that will run 30-40 minutes each. Kuhlman said the approaching event has also created opportunities for parents to participate. “We are excited for our families to experience the hard work and skill of their young artists and performers at this brand-new event, but we need your help!” said Kuhlman, who is asking parents to consider giving an hour of their time to support Seven Hills student artists and help the event run smoothly.
