We invite eager learners who will make the most of the opportunities Seven Hills provides and also contribute their own unique talents and gifts to our community to apply for a Seven Hills Scholar Award or Young Scholar Award (merit based awards). If you are a new family applying for admission into Grades 6-12, and your student demonstrates considerable academic prowess, strength of character, and leadership skills, we encourage you to apply for the Scholar Award. If you have a student entering grades 1-5 whose academic promise, talents, and character would enrich our community, apply for a Young Scholar Award. |
| Eligibility To be eligible for a Seven Hills Scholar or Young Scholar Award, a student must be a new applicant for admission to Grades 6-12 or Grades 1-5, respectively, and must complete all components of the application process. Students entering Grades 6-12 must indicate their interest in the Scholar Award by completing the Scholar Award Essay on the Student Application. Candidates must also shadow for a day with a current Seven Hills student. |

| Criteria Candidates for The Seven Hills Scholar Awards are outstanding individuals with proven records of academic achievement and potential, as demonstrated in the classroom and on standardized tests. They must also exhibit leadership potential, integrity, and strength of character. Candidates for the Young Scholar Award are students with academic promise, intellectual curiosity, leadership potential, and a wide spectrum of interests. |

| Selection Process We select recipients based on the above criteria, as well as on written recommendations and the anticipated impact of their personal contributions to life at Seven Hills. |

Students selected as recipients of a Seven Hills Scholar Award or Young Scholar Award receive annual awards ranging between $1,000 and $11,000 and $500 to $5,000, respectively. The total number of awards and the total amount of each recipient’s award will be determined at the discretion of the Scholar Award Committee. Scholar Awards (Grades 6-12) will be renewed on an annual basis for each year that the recipient is enrolled at Seven Hills, contingent upon the student remaining in good standing socially and academically, the criteria of which will be determined at the sole discretion of The Seven Hills School. Young Scholar Award recipients will receive their award annually through 8th grade. Please note that the number of awards available is determined by the applicant pool. Priority is given to qualified applicants to grades where space is available.
