The compete together, win together school
Upper School Athletics
After the final bell rings, Seven Hills continues to hum with activity, as boys and girls hit the soccer field, the basketball court, the pommel horse, or the baseball diamond. We offer 34 teams in 14 different sports, compete successfully in the Miami Valley Conference, and have captured numerous league championships and made appearances in state tournaments.
The keys to our success are the dedicated athletes and knowledgeable coaches that lead our teams. Seven Hills’ no-cut policy also ensures that students willing to make a commitment to a team have the opportunity to do so. Through our athletic program, students learn the value of teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship. Our teams practice and compete hard, and infuse our campus with their camaraderie and school spirit.
Approximately 80 percent of our students play at least one sport. As students compete–and cheer on their friends–our community builds strong bonds of friendship and positive attitudes toward healthy living and lifelong fitness. We also emphasize respect for others both on and off the field, and routinely earn the Harold Meyer Sportsmanship Award along with league sportsmanship awards.
In the end, our athletics program thrives on the same positive energy that fuels achievement in our classrooms where students reach beyond themselves just to see what they can achieve.
